Description

Myriophyllum aquaticum, also known as aquatic milfoil, is a common aquarium plant that belongs to the Haloragaceae family. It is a perennial plant with floating or submerged stems which can reach a height of 30 cm. The leaves of the plant are divided into many fine and dense segments which form a compact tuft. Myriophyllum aquaticum flowers are small and not very visible, with short stems that emerge from the leaves. The plant can be easily propagated by simply cutting the stems into several pieces and replanting them in the aquarium.
