Description

From the Pleuroceridae family, these snails are characterized by the thickness of their shell and by the very aesthetic aspect of the latter. Comparable to that of melanoids, they avoid the formation of pockets or toxic gas bubbles. Breathing by gills is reproduction is done in the substrate.
